The project Ledro Land Art was brought to life in 2012 with the aim of blending nature and art. This 1-km long circular route starts in the pinewood of Pur and follows the course of the Assat river before arriving at Malga Cita.
The artworks were all created in the pine tree forest where they are exhibited. The artists themselves chose the places where they wanted their works to be. The materials used are all eco-friendly and of natural origin. Ledro Land Art encourages visitors to reflect on the relationship between humans and nature and to live old traditions. Along the itinerary you will see gigantic cows with steel horns, a snail, a mysterious ufo and many other masterpieces. Every creation is complete with a short description about its meaning and a message by the artist.
The itinerary is rather easy, perfectly suitable for baby carriages and complete with a car park, rest areas and picnic benches. At the entrance to the park lie an info point with a shop and a bar with toilets.
