Playgrounds in the Valsugana and on the altopiano del Tesino

The Valsugana area and the altopiano del Tesino are particularly appreciated by families with children

Playground of Cembra

The playground of Cembra in the eponymous valley is accessible from Lavis or the Val di Fiemme. This natural paradise extends in the vicinity of a football pitch and boasts a climbing pyramid, swings, different slides, spring rockers, benches, a gazebo and climbing stations. The area is surrounded by high trees and bushes and therefore highly appreciated on hot summer days.

Playground of Montagnaga on the altopiano di Piné

This small but well-maintained playground in Montagnaga on the altopiano di Piné, a high plateau, is surrounded by trees and therefore a sought-after destination on hot summer days. The installations were built only with natural materials, especially wood. Children will have fun on a high climbing tower, a climbing net with hand- and footholds, a slide and steel tubes, a small wooden hut, swings and spring rockers. From here you can also undertake relaxing walks to the lakes in the surroundings or to the Madonna di Caravaggio sanctuary.

Parco Giarete

A park in Pergine Valsugana with climbing stations, swings, slides, spring rockers, benches, an extensive meadow, a football pitch and a gazebo.

Parco Tre Castagni di Pergine

Playing areas for children and a plant labyrinth were set up on a ten hectare wide area in Pergine. The park is crossed by several walking paths with sculptures flanked by extensive meadows. The first playing area is equipped with a wooden structure with rope bridges, climbing nets and balance routes. The second playing area features swings, slides, climbing walls, a gnome hut, a table and a fountain. On one of these meadows stands a 24-metre long wooden sculpture of a fictional creature realised by Franz Avancini.

Playground in Palù del Fersina

This recently renovated playground in Palù del Fersina in the valle dei Mocheni is complete with one of the biggest slides of the entire Trentino. Here, children can live unforgettable moments in nature on spectacular slides, swings, rope bridges and more. The installations were made with refined wood and guarantee fun in safety.

Parco Palù in Lavarone

The Parco Palù in Lavarone extends on a verdant area on the high plateau of Lavarone, only 2 km from the eponymous lake. The playground features a long slide, a tube, swings, spring rockers, see-saws, a swing suitable for children on a wheelchair, zip wires, a sandpit and a small fishing pond. Another highlight for children is the wooden farm with wooden animals converted into see-saws, a wooden mill with slides, a wooden tractor, a labyrinth and trampolines.

Baby Park Alpe Cimbra in Folgaria

The Baby Park Alpe Cimbra is a unique playground. In winter it is set up on the ski slopes of Alpe Cimbra, whereas in summer it is moved to the village centre of Folgaria. Children spend unforgettable moments with the witch Perty, the gnome Fli Flack and Manny, as well as the various installations that await them here. The park also organises interesting activities and workshops for children. Other attractions in the surroundings are the hut of the bear Prunpeer in Costa di Folgaria and the Baby Park of the witch (Baby Park della strega) in Fondo Piccolo where children enjoy themselves on bouncy castles.

Playground in Pieve di Tesino

In the sports zone of Pieve di Tesino lies a playground that stretches on an extensive fenced area. A huge wooden climbing structure, Tibetan bridges, a tube, swings, single and double see-saws and basket swings ensure a memorable day outside. We recommend visiting this playground in winter, spring and autumn or on cloudy days, as it is heavily exposed to the sun.
