Have fun skiing on the slopes between the fortresses of the Great War
Image gallery: Folgaria Ski
The Folgaria Ski Area stretches from the villages of Folgaria to Serrada and Fiorentini and includes 23 blue, 17 red and 4 black slopes.
But besides alpine skiing you can also practise several other winter sports like cross country skiing in the cross-country skiing centre on Passo Coe and Forte Cherle which is suitable especially for beginners, sledge runs and an ice rink.
The winter landscape of Folgaria is unique in its kind thanks to the numerous historic remains of the Great War, as well as the Italian and Austro-Hungarian fortresses characterising the former alpine front line. The fusion of the skiing areas of Folgaria and Lavarone is known as "Skitour dei Forti" (ski tour of fortresses).
