A total of 18 blue, 18 red and one black slope belong to the Folgaria skiing area which comprises the slopes around the villages of Folgaria, Serrada and Fiorentini.
But that’s far from being all, as Folgaria has much more to offer in winter. To make your wintery stay in Folgaria an adventure, there are also the two snow parks Jurassic and Mazinga, two cross-country ski centres, Passo Coe and Forte Cherle, which is ideal for beginners, as well as toboggan runs and the popular ice stadium.
Still today several spots in the skiing area remind that this high plateau used to be a battle area in WWI. The ancient fortresses of the Austrians and Italians make the winter landscape even more special. For this reason the ski compound of Folgaria and Lavarone is also called “Skitour dei Forti“, which means skitour of fortresses.
In order to protect the health of guests and the local population, the winter season 2019/20 will be closed earlier this year, on 11 March 2020. This is a preventive measure against the further spread of the COVID-19 disease.
