Sover's breathtaking panoramic views attract hikers and walkers seeking a quiet summer holiday destination.
The village is crossed by a narrow road with different rustic noble houses on both sides. Some of their faҫades are decorated with religious frescoes. The rooftops of these residences are made of yellow tiles and terracotta from the furnaces of Molina di Fiemme.
Wooden handicraft is a traditional activity which has been handed down to the future generations since the 17th century. The St. Lawrence parish church was built in 1537 and houses three wooden Baroque altars of notable value.
We also recommend visiting the hamlet of Montesover, a settlement at the edge of the forest where mushrooms and raspberries are picked and processed.
