Molina is one of the villages of the municipality of Castello-Molino di Fiemme which includes also Castello di Fiemme, Predaia and Stramentizzo. The two main villages Molina and Castello are only 2 km apart.
Molina is situated on the right shore of the Avisio stream and the buildings of the village represent the typical architecture of the Val di Fiemme. A unique feature of these buildings is their roofing, which consists of locally made bars of ceramic scales. The parish church in the upper part of the village dates back to 1852 and is dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua.
Molina amazes with its extensive offer of outdoor activities in nature. In winter you can try cross-country skiing as the track of the village is directly connected to other tracks in the valley and in summer hikers will find a broad network of hiking trails. If you climb the Val Cadino among the Lagorai peaks, you reach the popular Passo Menghen (2,047 m a.s.l.) which connects the Valli dell'Avisio to the Valsugana.
