Dasindo is a small village at 502 m a.s.l. with slightly more than 100 inhabitants and particularly known for its corn production. This locality is composed of narrow alleys and ancient stone houses which give it its typical picturesque appearance. The 16th century church consecrated to the Assumption of Mary houses numerous frescoes by Simone II Baschenis and should definitely be visited. The tomb of Giovanni Prati is situated left of the church.
During Christmas time the locality becomes the venue of the so-called "percorso tra i presepi di Vigo Lomaso e Dasindo", a nativity scene path along which you can admire masterpieces created with love at every angle, house and garden of Dasindo.
