The village of Lomaso is located at 492 m asl. on the Lomaso High Plateau, between the Duina and Sarca rivers and the the Casale, Mison and Cogorna mountains

Nestled in a lush green natural landscape, Lomaso is excellently suited for guest who search for relaxation but also for those who want to spend activity holidays. Main sources of income are agriculture and husbandry. Close contact with nature can be found in the biotope of the Lomasona valley while the climbing gym and the various mountain bike trails attract active holidaymakers.

Worth seeing is the Giovanni Prati Literature Park (Parco Letterario Giovanni Prati), dedicated to the famous Italian poet and politician Giovanni Prati (1814 – 1884) who was born in Dasindo. The park is regarded as the most important literary park of the Trentino. There you find various thematic paths, so-called “Emotional Paths” which inform about literature and the locale agriculture of the Trentino.
