The villages of Godenzo and Poia belong to the municipality of Comano Terme and are situated at 502 metres of altitude. Both villages are strongly influenced by agriculture, especially corn, apple and potato cultivation. The "La Montagnina del Lomas" is the characteristic potato of this area. It is grown according to the criteria of the "Produzione Integrata" and naturally preserved.
The San Giovanni Apostolo church in Godenzo is worth visiting. It was first mentioned in 1025 and rebuilt in 1506 and 1661. This sacral building houses a significant altarpiece depicting Mary on the throne with child and the Saints John, Joseph, Anthony, Vigilius, and Lawrence.
