In winter, the Aloch ski slope at the Val di Fassa Ski Stadium attracts many skiers. It hosts international competitions every year. The slope is illuminated also at night, offering families a special experience in the snow under the starry night sky.
On the Ciancoal slope, cross-country skiers can have fun even at night, thanks to its lighting system.
The village of Pozza, which includes the hamlets of Pera, Meida and Monzon, was an autonomous municipality until 2017. On the 1st January 2018, following the fusion of the municipalities of Pozza di Fassa and Vigo, it became a hamlet of the municipality of San Giovanni di Fassa - Sèn Jan. Pozza is also home to the art academy, the Istituto d'Arte della Val di Fassa, where numerous decorators and wood sculptors have trained.
