This small village at the entrance to the Valsugana is part of the Tesino basin. Surrounded by forests, mountains and small lakes, Tesino is a true paradise for nature lovers, as well as an excellent starting point for hikes into the Rava and Ravetta mountain ranges.
The history of this ancient hamlet is marked by the continuous presence of nomads, as well as stonecutters who mastered graphite extraction in the caves of Rava. Particularly interesting are the St. Biagio church, the cascata del Pison (Pison waterfall) and a stunningly beautiful secular tilia in the vicinity of Maso Weiss.
