Even if agriculture and especially fruit and vine cultivation have always played an essential role for the municipality of Castelnuovo, this area has been turned into a cutting-edge industrial centre after World War 2. The numerous fruit orchards and vineyards can be admired during a stroll, hike or bike tour along the cycle path crossing the southern part of the village.
The St. Margherita church overlooking the entire Valsugana offers stunning views. We recommend visiting the villa padronale De Bellat and Villa Capelletti, two wonderful noble residences. Passionate horse riders can practise their favourite sport at the riding centre Centro ippico De Bellat where the Ippovia del Trentino orientale, a riding path, runs along.
