Situated in a stunning natural position in the Valsugana Scurelle was once crossed by the ancient Roman road, Via Claudia Augusta Altinate. This small village has still maintained its industrial and artisanal tradition, even if manufacturing was practised here already in 1700.
The church dedicated to the Saints Martin and Valentine and the ruins of Castel Nerva which stand on a rock overlooking the village should definitely be visited. Nature lovers should not miss the Val Campelle with its verdant pastures, malghe and the rifugio Malga Caldenave.
