Malga San Giovanni near Riva del Garda is accessible by car only from Arco. Malga San Giovanni, a peaceful, traffic-free hiking and cycling destination which is easily accessible from the Valli Giudicarie on the opposite slope.
We highly recommend visiting the San Martino archaeological site which is situated along the path. Some years ago, in this excavation site, Paleochristian remains, which are now studied, where brought to light.
From the car park in the village of Lundo we follow path no. 425, a path devoted to the beatified alpinist Pier Giorgio Frassati, to the final destination and return to our starting point along the same path. Please remember that at halfway you can do a side trip to the archaeological site.
