Canyoning is a blend between alpinism and water sports. It involves descending through narrow gorges with small water courses and traversing them without a canoe or an inflatable boat.

Usually, canyoning routes lead through deep canyons with waterfalls, small lakes, slides, flooded passages and natural climbing walls. Numerous sports centres in Trentino offer guided canyoning tours with qualified guides for everyone.
