Alpe Cermis skiing area

The Alpe Cermis with the famous Olympic slope is one of the most important skiing areas of the Val di Fiemme

The Alpe Cermis skiing area is easily reachable from the village centre of Cavalese and from the middle station of Alpe Cermis. The skiing area features slopes for skiers of all levels, including beginners and professionals who would like to refine their skiing technique.

The well-known 7.5 km long "Olympia" presents a drop of 1,400 m and is renowned for being a challenging black slope for advanced skiers. Of course Alpe Cermis also features easier slopes for beginner and intermediate skiers.

The 26 km long pistes are always in perfect conditions thanks to a modern, programmed snowmaking system which guarantees perfect snow from early December to April. The highest summit of the area is the cima Pajon from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Lagorai mountain chain.

Moreover the different localities are of the skiing area are connected by a free ski bus service from Christmas to April. Little guests can make their first steps on skis in the ski school or have fun in the snow in the Cermislandia playground on the Doss dei Laresi which offers also entertainment programmes.

In the surroundings you can find several ice rinks and cross-country skiing centres. One of the cross-country ski tracks of this ski area hosts the final stage (known as the "Final Climb") of the world-famous cross-country ski race "Tour de Ski".
