Ski area Campiglio

The slopes of Madonna di Campiglio are among the most famous in the Skirama Adamello Brenta

Surrounded by the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello and Presanella glaciers, Madonna di Campiglio is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders. This popular ski resort attracts both locals and tourists from abroad. Even Emperor Franz and his wife Elisabeth were in love with this place and came to Madonna di Campiglio twice. This village is often associated with the former world-famous Italian professional skier Alberto Tomba. Every year many famous pro athletes train and compete in Madonna di Campiglio on the "3-Tre" FIS ski slope where well-known ski champions like Thoeni, Tomba and Rocca succeeded in occasion of the FIS ski World Cup races.

Cinque Laghi, Pradalago, Grostè and Spinale - are all interconnected and give access to the slopes of Folgarida in the Val di Sole with a total length of 60 km. The ski area is complete with 20 cutting-edge lift facilities and snow making systems, which produce snow for 87% of the slopes.

The difficulty level of the slopes ranges from easy to difficult. One of the most challenging one is undoubtedly the pista dello Spinale which features a drop of up to 70 % and was recently dedicated to the German Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher.

Snowboarders, however, are looking forward to having fun in the Ursus Snowpark, where slides, jumps, quarters, spine and a boardercross track will make their hearts leap for joy.
Also cross-country skiers are warmly welcome in Madonna di Campiglio, where they can enjoy 22 km of cross-country ski tracks at Campo Carlo Magno while skiing across an amazing landscape. A welcome change are snowshoeing tours to Malga Mondifrà or Malga Vaglianella.

Madonna di Campiglio is not only connected to Folgarida - Marilleva, but also to Pinzolo. Thanks to the new panoramic cable car Pinzolo - Campiglio Express it is possible to reach the ski area of Pinzolo in only 16 minutes. In this way sports enthusiasts can enjoy skiing in one huge skiing area with 155 km of ski slopes.

With a length of 3 km, the new toboggan run on Monte Spinale is a funny adventure for families.
