The municipality of Sagron Mis includes the two small mountain villages of Sagròn and Mis, both located in a valley basin between the Passo Cereda and Argodino near Fiera di Primiero and San Martino di Castrozza. The unique view of the surrounding peaks of the Dolomites and particularly the Piz de Sagron in the Cimonega group, is simply amazing.
Of particular interest are the parish church of Sagròn, dedicated to the Madonna of Loreto, and the Madonna delle Grazie Church, built in 1901 in Mis. The numerous, isolated houses and buildings on the meadows of the upper valle del Mis, can be found throughout this area.
Sagron Mis lies exactly between two protected areas: the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park and the Parco Nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi. The Alta Via delle Dolomiti no. 2 from Bressanone in Alto Adige to Feltre runs past the village.
