Coming from Trento, the village of Valfloriana stretches along the Avisio river, in the south-western part of the Val di Fiemme.
In this village, ancient traditions are preserved and continue to live on, including its spectacular, archaic carnival, which is one of the most beautiful ones in the entire region. Valfloriana celebrates this tradition every year with the so-called "Facère", typical wooden masks and traditional figures, such as the Matòci, the Paiaci and the arlecchini. Try the local delicacies and the wide selection of local cheeses.
This extensive municipality includes ten hamlets along the south-western side of the Val di Fiemme. The entire area features fantastic hiking paths in the Lagorai range and the ski areas of the Val di Fiemme and the Val di Fassa ensure great fun on the slopes!.
