Novaledo

This very small village in the Valsugana was once the border between the bishoprics of Trento and Feltre

Novaledo is a small agricultural and artisanal centre stretching along the Rosa stream right at the ancient border between the bishoprics of Trento and Feltre. The S. Desiderio farm on the left side of the provincial road was donated by Corrado II il Salico in 1027 and used to represent the borderline.

The St. Augustin church of 1724 and the contemporary Church of Mary Help of Christians are worth a visit. In the surroundings of Novaledo you can admire the interesting ruins of the Torre Quadra, the base of an ancient drawbridge that blocked the road.
