Commezzadura is composed of five hamlets, once autonomous municipalities: Almazzago, Deggiano, Mastellina, Mestriago and Piano, which became part of one municipality with the royal decree emanated by King Vittorio Emanuele III in 1927. Actually, the so-called village of Commezzadura is a group of nearby hamlets, each with its own identity and facilities. Today, the overall population is about 1,000 inhabitants.
The historic buildings, fountains and churches of inestimable artistic and historic value vouch for the long handicraft tradition of this mountain area between the villages of Dimaro and Mezzana. Historic monuments you should definitely not miss are the Sant'Agata Church and the small San Giuseppe Church in Piano di Commezzadura.
In the cold season, winter sports lovers can use the nearby ski lifts of the Folgarida-Marilleva ski area, which can be easily reached by cable car from the hamlet of Daolasa. The local cross-country ski tracks are about 8 kilometres long.
