The municipality of Croviana is situated near Malé, the main locality of the valley. It is surrounded by numerous hiking and walking paths of all levels amidst nature and therefore a sought-after holiday destination for hikers. The Castello dei Pezzen, a castle with an impressive keep and corner towers, is a piece of historic evidence for the village's past as a residence for Lombard noble families.
Right near the castle you can find the San Giorgio parish church, a sacral monument built in the mid 12th century which was enlarged several times. On the right hand side there is the Cappella Pezzen chapel decorated with the family's coat of arms and a gravestone which was broken into two parts by two robbers as they were trying to rob the treasure of the noble family.
In the historic quarter of "Liciasa" in via Nazionale you can admire the ancient Casa Angeli, as well as the old mill in the nearby recreational area "Le Plaze". Nowadays this building houses the Mulino Museo dell'Ape. In the immediate vicinity is also the seat of the Trentino Wild Village outdoor centre, which is perfectly suitable for outdoor activities.
An event you should definitely not miss is the sagra di San Giorgio, held every year on the 23rd April with the traditional procession followed by a country festival!
