Telve

The historic centre of Telve is composed of ancient districts with a truly unique structure, known as cormèi. The attached buildings are arranged around an open space, usually a courtyard. Outside the historic centre you will find both scattered and isolated farmsteads.

The area of Telve stretches towards the mountains and is characterised by forests, alpine pastures and peaks. Here you can discover the fascinating unspoilt nature of the Val Calamento and visit two well-known environmental gems: the altopiano di Musiera which features a lake for recreational fishing and the Oasi di Valtrignona, the only WWF area of the Alpine divide. The Val Calamento is an ideal starting point for hikes and especially mountain bike tours to the Passo Manghen, a mountain pass connecting the Valsugana to the Val di Fiemme across the Lagorai chain.
