The municipal area of Predaia extends on a surface of 80 sq km and is composed of the hamlets of Coredo, Smarano, Taio, Tres, Vervò, Dardine, Dermulo, Mollaro, Priò, Segno, Tavon, Torra, Tuenetto and Vion.
Thanks to its panoramic position in the heart of the Val di Non, the altopiano della Predaia offers marvellous views of the surrounding mountains, including the Brenta Dolomites and the Maddalene group in the Ortles-Cevedale group.
Predaia offers a huge variety of natural landscapes, ranging from low larch meadows to high-altitude forests. The nature, culture, art and numerous sports opportunities attract several visitors in every season of the year.
The "funivia delle mele" (literally apple cableway) was inaugurated in Predaia on 18 November 2025. This material cableway is the first one in the world to carry agricultural products and was realised by the Consorzio Melinda, one of the most well-known fruit producers in Italy. The funivia delle mele connects the production site of Predaia with dolostone caves that require 30% less energy than traditional apple stores.
