The municipal area of Predaia stretches on a surface of 80 sq km and includes the localities of Coredo, Smarano, Taio, Tres, Vervò, Dardine, Dermulo, Mollaro, Priò, Segno, Tavon, Torra, Tuenetto and Vion.
Thanks to its panoramic position in the heart of the Val di Non, the altopiano della Predaia offers marvellous views of the surrounding mountains, including the Brenta Dolomites to the Maddalene group in the Ortles-Cevedale group.
From the fruit orchards on the valley floor, to the larch meadows, malghe and high alpine forests, Predaia's multifaceted, unspoilt nature, is also rich in art and culture and a paradise for sports lovers who can practise many different activities all year round.
The "funivia delle mele" (literally apple cableway) was inaugurated in Predaia on 18 November 2025. This material cableway is the first one in the world to carry agricultural products and was built by the Consorzio Melinda, one of the most well-known fruit producers in Italy. The funivia delle mele connects the production site of Predaia with dolostone caves that require 30% less energy than traditional apple stores.
