Five Lakes’ Tour near Madonna di Campiglio

In one of the most beautiful landscapes worldwide, in the area of the Brenta Dolomites, you can experience the real alpine world in all its facets along a fantastic route.

The classic version of the Five Lakes Tour at Campiglio does not pass the lakes Tre Laghi, Lago Alto and Lago delle Malghette, but descends from Lake Serodoli to Lake Nero and Lake Nambino on path no. 217 to Madonna di Campiglio. Our variant is more demanding, but certainly at least equally beautiful and takes about two hours more than the classic route.

The route is comfortable to walk, but physical fitness is required, even just because of the altitude and the length of the tour. We recommend to start in the early morning and to bring along enough water. The distances between the single rest points are long.

By the Cinque Laghi Cable Car at Madonna di Campiglio we come up to the eponymous mountain hut where our hike starts on the path no. 232 towards Lake Ritorto and Lake Lambin, until Lake Serodoli. After a short detour to Lake Gelato, at the foot of the Passo di Nambrone, we continue along the paths no. 226B and 267A to the lakes Tre Laghi, Lago Alto and Lago delle Malghette. From there we return to Madonna di Campiglio along path no. 201, which leads towards Campo Carlo Magno, back to Madonna di Campiglio again.
