Latemar Dolomites

This skiing resort extends west of the Dolomites and connects the provinces of Trento and Bolzano. The numerous interconnected pistes descend through an unspoilt landscape and offer stunning views ranging from the Sella Group to the Marmolada and the Alpi Breonie. This skiing area owes its name to the impressive Latemar chain. At the foot of this range you can find the localities of Obereggen (Val d'Ega), Pampeago and Predazzo (Val di Fiemme).

The Latemar Dolomites skiing area is equipped with modern facilities and perfectly prepared slopes for skiers of all levels. Downhill skiers can compete against each other on the two timed slopes in Pampeago or on the 2.6 km long black "Agnello" slope with a notable drop of 420 metres. Beginners can try the 700 m long blue "Campanil 2" slope which is perfect for practice sessions.

Snowboarders can have fun in the extensive 550 metre long Snowpark of Obereggen, a true paradise with halfpipes, boardercross, rails, box, wallrides and jumps. The Latemar Dolomites skiing area provides numerous attractions for children including sledge runs, a Baby Park and the Fun Park Latemar MontagnAnimata with the thrilling Alpine Coaster Gardonè and the magical "La Foresta dei Draghi" forest path.

With 100 km of cross-country ski slopes which take you across wonderful forests and gentle hills, this area is a true highlight for cross-country skiers as well.
