From the car park we take the forest road (signposted SAT 101) towards the mountain hut Rifugio Lancia. Once arrived at the locality of Pozza Rionda (1,660 m a.s.l.) we follow path no. 102/A, also known as "Sentiero delle Zie" and ascend through the forest towards east.
After tackling a steep bend we climb up the ridge until we reach a flat section, on which we proceed until the next uphill section. We walk across a valley and arrive at the crossroads to Rifugio Lancia (1,825 m a.s.l.) and continue towards north to the mountain hut. Once arrived at the mountain hut, we take a break. For our return we take the connection path to the village of Giazzera.
