The ruins of the Torre Quadra di Novaledo are accessible to the public
Image gallery: Torre Quadra
The two towers were built in the 13th century as a defensive structure to control the road of the Valsugana. The two towers were connected by a drawbridge. The Torre Quadra of Novaledo at the border between the bishoprics of Trento and Feltre was surrounded by a curtain wall to prevent attacks. This wall stretched from the top of the mountain to the swamps on the valley floor.
