Malga Bocche lies on a stunning meadow offering wonderful views of Passo Rolle, the Lagorai chain and the Pale di San Martino group

Malga Bocche was elected "Most beautiful mountain hut of Trentino in 2015 and is accessible via three routes. One starting point is Passo di Lusia, which is easily accessible by lift. Alternatives are the gravel route starting in the village of Paneveggio and the itinerary starting on passo Valles which crosses a dense forest in the upper part of a stunning larch forest where some traces of the Great War are still visible.
Today we choose the third version. We start at Malga Vallazza a few kilometres before passo Valles along the road of Predazzo or Passo Rolle that takes us to passo Valles. From malga Vallazza we walk along path no. 623 until malga Juribrutto and continue until malga Bocche, our destination.
On our return we retrace our steps. The entire route develops at 2,000 metres of altitude with only a few hilly sections. However, the difference in altitude is still about 600 metres each way.
