This short spring hike through the forests between Cavalese and Carano takes us to the small waterfalls of Carano

Our starting point is Maso Cela, a small locality along the strada delle Dolomiti starting from Cavalese and Castello di Fiemme and ascends towards the Passo di San Lugano. Near a bus stop and a small car park, we also find a panel indicating the path to the waterfalls.
We enter the small valley, where the path leads through the forest crossingwater courses on wooden bridges. After about a kilometre, we reach the small waterfalls, with several bridges spanning the water. The stream and its tributaries give the valley a special flair in an enchanting spot.
We continue our hike and reach a hill with larch trees before Dos Veronza. Path no. 52 leads to Carano where we proceed towards the centre of Cavalese, the final destination of our walk. With a length of just over four kilometres, this path is particularly recommended in spring, summer and autumn.
