Malga Campo is a unique malga embedded in the stunning nature of the Stelvio national park. Here, ancient traditions, agriculture and nature intertwine harmoniously.
You can park your car on the right side of a hairpin bend along the forest road from Celentino to Malga Campo above the locality of Celentino in the Val di Pejo (follow the signs for Celentino, then we continue on the unpaved road to Malga Campo for a few kilometres until we reach a small car park). From there, we can either take the forest road or path no. 132 towards Malga Campo. After a relaxing break, we follow the path to Malga Pozze/Lago di Celentino right after the hut.
We admire the stunning view of the Val di Sole and the surrounding peaks and descend along the path coming from Malga Campo on our right (this path is not well visible but if you look to your right you will see it for sure). The entire hike to lago di Celentino is characterised by unforgettable panoramic views of the Adamello-Presanella and Ortles-Cevedale groups.
