Our circular hike on the Panarotta and Malga Masi begins in Vetriolo, a small thermal bath in the mountains above Levico Terme

We start at the car park near Terme di Vetriolo and ascend to the Chiesa Madonna della Neve, where we follow signpost 308 towards Cima Panarotta. We walk past the thermal spring and continue uphill through the forest to Cima Esi, situated on an exposed slope west of Panarotta at 1,800 m a.s.l. The lift station here operates during the ski season. We continue our hike along the path following the ski slope until we arrive at the main peak at 2,002 m a.s.l., where various antennas and transmission towers stand. The panoramic view extends over the Valsugana with its lakes and surrounding peaks.
The descent winds along an exposed slope east of Panarotta on a path leading to the pass "La Bassa". From here, the European Long Distance Trail E5, also path no. 372, takes us to Malga Masi. This malga is a refreshment area and a well-known hiking destination. Finally, we take path no. 309 back to Vetriolo Terme.
