The theme path from Passo Brocon to Col del Boia leads across a carpet of blooming alpine flowers

In 1980, Rino Ballerin, a doctor from Castello Tesino, realised his dream of uniting two old military roads between Col del Boia and Pizzo degli Uccelli to create a botanical path. Today, this stroll takes you from Passo Brocon across blooming meadows to the forest limit. Along the path, you can admire 300 different species of plants.
The botanical path, Trodo dei Fiori, begins at Passo Brocon on the north side of the road. This itinerary climbs through alpine meadows, passing information panels that offer interesting insights into the characteristics of the flora and habitat of this area, which vary according to altitude and geographical position. On the ridge of Col de Boia, we are amazed by the stunning panoramic view of the Dolomites, the Gruppo del Lagorai, the Dolomiti di Feltre, Mt Agaro and the mountains of the Valsugana.
